Where a ledger entry comes from
Every ledger entry carries asource that tells you which part of Infinity posted it. Use it to tell the bookings you made yourself apart from those Infinity keeps in sync with something else — and to know where an entry has to be changed or undone.
manual
You posted the entry yourself, either in the ledger of the app or through this API. These are the only entries that can be deleted through the API.customer-invoice
The entry belongs to a customer invoice (Forderung): its positions when the invoice is posted, its payments, and the corrections that go with them such as discounts, rebates, rounding differences, overpayments and exchange rate differences. Change the invoice to change these bookings.vendor-invoice
The entry belongs to a vendor invoice (Lieferantenrechnung, Kreditor): the expense and payable when the invoice is recorded, and the bookings of its payments including rounding differences and overpayments.bank
The entry was posted from a synchronised bank transaction (Bankbewegung) in Live Accounting. It follows the bank statement, so it is changed by reassigning the underlying bank transaction rather than by editing the entry.vat
The entry was posted by the VAT settlement of a VAT period, or by the payment of the VAT owed to the Federal Tax Administration. These entries appear when a VAT period is settled.closing
The entry was posted when a fiscal year was opened or closed: opening balances, accruals and deferrals, depreciation, and the appropriation of the profit or loss.reversal
The entry reverses another entry (Storno). Itsreverses property holds the id of the entry it reverses, and that entry in turn points back at it with reversedBy.
